신청 자격

 - 2026학년도 1학기 기준 일반대학원 정규학기 재학생 중 외국인전형으로 입학한 자

 * 2026학년도 1학기에 초과학기/연구학기/휴학/수료연구생 예정 학생은 신청 불가

 * 정부초청장학생 및 공동/복수학위자 신청 불가

 - 각 장학금별 지원 조건을 충족하는 경우만 지원이 가능함(“2. 지원 조건” 참고)

 - 장학금을 희망하는 학생은 매 학기 신청해야 함에 유의

2. 지원 조건

 - 지원조건Ⅰ: 2025학년도 2학기 GPA (2025년 1월 6일(화) 오전 11시 이후 성적 확정 예정)

 * 신청 시점에 GPA가 확정되지 않았으므로 장학금을 중복하여 신청할 수 있음 
  (단, 한 가지 장학금만 수혜 받을 수 있음)

 * 신청자의 성적이 기준에 미달할 경우 장학금 신청이 자동으로 취소됨

 - 지원조건Ⅱ: 외국인학생 필수교육이수 (①인권과 성평등 교육, ②범죄 예방 교육)

 * 외국인 학생 대상의 필수교육이수 증빙서류를 제출해야 장학금 신청이 가능함

 * 수강 방법, 증명서 발급 등은 별도로 첨부된 안내문 참고

3. 신청 방법 및 결과 확인방법

 - 신청 기간: 2025. 12. 15(월) 00:00 KST ~ 2026. 1. 4(일) 23:59 KST 까지

 - 신청 방법: 포털접속 → 로그인 → 등록/장학 → 장학 → 대학원 장학금 신청

 - 제출 서류 (아래의 모든 서류를 1개의 PDF파일로 만들어서 제출해야 함(포털에 업로드))

 ① 장학금 신청서 및 역량기술서 1부

 ② 외국인학생 필수교육이수 증빙서류 각 1부(①인권과 성평등 교육, ②범죄예방교육)

 * 수강 방법, 증명서 발급 등은 다른 첨부 파일 참고 

 - 결과 발표: 2026년 2월 중, “포털(KUPID) - 로그인(학생) - 장학금 수혜내역”을 통해 확인 

 * 장학금 수혜자 선발은 신청자의 소속 단과대학에서 종합적인 학업능력을 평가하여 진행함
  * 문의: 학생이 소속되어 있는 단과대학의 행정팀

 - 해당 내용은 각 대학 사정에 따라 추후 변경될 수 있습니다.

 - 학생 소속 단과대학은 홈페이지(https://graduate.korea.ac.kr/department/major.html)에서 확인 가능

1. Eligibility

 - Foreign graduate school students who will enroll in a regular semester in the spring 2026 semester.

 * Students who will register for their “additional semester for credit earning” or “research semester” or “enrolled degree candidates(수료연구학생)” or “students planning to have a leave of absence” as of spring semester 2026, are not eligible for application.

 * GKS scholars and joint/dual degree students are not eligible for application.

 - All requirements for application should be met. (please refer to the ‘2. Requirements’) 

 - Students who wish for the scholarship should apply for every semester.

2. Requirements

 - Requirement Ⅰ: GPA of fall semester 2025(Confirmed GPA to be announced on 6th Jan. 2026, 11:00AM)

 * If the GPA is not confirmed at the time of application, students can apply for several 
  scholarships(However, the students can receive only one of scholarships applied.)

 * If the applicant’s GPA does not meet the requirement, the application will be canceled automatically.

 - Requirement Ⅱ: Completion of Compulsory Education for Foreign Students

 (①Human Rights and Gender Equality Education and ②Crime Prevention Education)

 * From Fall 2023, only those students who have already taken the compulsory courses can apply for the scholarships.

  issuance guideline“.
  * Compulsory education completion date required for the scholarship application 

3. Scholarship Application Procedure and Result Announcement

 - Application Period: 15th(Mon.) Dec. 2025 00:00 KST – 4th(Sun.) Jan. 2026, by 23:59 KST

 - How to Apply:

 Visit KUPID(http://portal.korea.ac.kr) → Log-in → Registration/Scholarship(등록/장학) → 
  Scholarship(장학) → Register the Scholarship(대학원 장학금 신청)

 - Required Documents(ALL the documents must be MERGED into one PDF file and be submitted.) 
  (Please upload at KUPID)

 ① Application form and Statement of ability for an applicant

 ② Certificate of completion for each compulsory education for foreign students

 - Result Announcement in Feb. 2026(expected), 

 How to check: KUPID – Scholarship - Scholarship/Student Loan Recipients(장학금 수혜내역)

 * The scholarship recipient selection will be conducted from applicant’s affiliated college
  through evaluation of applicant’s overall academic ability. 
  * Please contact your department office for any inquiry

4. Benefits of the Type B and C scholarships of each college

 - It could be changed by each department’s plan.
